First mobile engineer on the team. The delivery driver app went from an empty repository to 10K+ drivers on the road — and I owned every release in between.
The context
3M Zone was building a fully integrated delivery ecosystem — merchants, logistics, and the drivers who tie it together. When I joined there was no mobile team, no mobile codebase and a business that needed drivers running its software within months.
What I did
- Architected and built the driver application from scratch, fully cross-platform from a single codebase.
- Implemented the complete delivery feature set — assignment, tracking, proof-of-delivery flows — integrated with the wider ecosystem.
- Owned the release train end to end: versioning, store review on both platforms, and multiple production releases.
- Set the mobile engineering direction as the team grew around the product.
